The aim of our website is to provide you with
all kinds of interesting information about junior
badminton in and around the county and beyond. Should
you be looking for information and news on senior

If you are aged 18 down to just 5 years and want
to play badminton then look no further for the best
playing opportunities in Hertfordshire. Whether
you are looking for a club to join, a tournament
to enter or some coaching to get you started or
help you improve, just click on the buttons on the
left and you will find information to help. Perhaps
you are seeking doubles partners in which case we
may also be able to help you. Just pop your requirements
on an email
and we will try to point you in the right direction.
We would like to hear your badminton stories
so please send in items of news and pictures so
that we can share them with your badminton friends.
So don't just depend on Facebook, let us all know
about your badminton exploits together with any
associated pictures. As always, we depend on your
ideas to help improve the site and provide the information
that you need, so if you notice anything missing,
us and let us know!
HSBA AGM INFORMATION!
This year's AGM will be held in the International Suite at Hertfordshire Sports Village, De Havilland Campus, Hatfield Business Park, Mosquito Way, Hatfield AL10 9EU on Wednesday 27th June, starting at 20:00 prompt. The provisional minutes of the 2017 AGM are available here; the agenda and other AGM documentation will be made available on the downloads page prior to the meeting.
Young Coach and Young Volunteer of the Year 2018
HSBA and HBA are looking for this year's Young Coach of the Year
and Young Volunteer of the Year. Do you know someone who in either
category is outstanding? For Young Coach, the BE categories recognised
are Young Leader Award holder, SmashUp! Activator, UKCC Level 1 or
Level 2 award holder.
For Young Volunteer, they could be helpers in any way in clubs, schools,
sports facilities, college or Uni, at tournaments, with social media, etc.

Missing your Badminton over the Summer...?
If your club is closed or you just want more badminton, the Ware Summer Club could be the answer.
Ware is one of the strongest and largest clubs in Hertfordshire, with a proud record of encouraging county juniors to play in a good quality senior club.
Our Summer Club is held at Allenbury's, in Ware, every Wednesday night during June and July, 8pm-10pm.

Are you a school that runs badminton sessions? Affiliate to HSBA for free using this
COUNTY TRIALS DATES ANNOUNCED
HSBA County trials for 2018/19 for the U12, U14, U16
and U18 squads will be held at Birchwood Leisure Centre, Longmead,
Hatfield, AL10 0AN on Sunday 24th June at
the following times:
24th June, 11.00-13.00 Under 12 (Players born
in 2008 or later)
24th June, 13:00-15.30 Under 14 (Players born
in 2006 or 2007)
24th June, 15.30-18.00 Under 16 (Players born
in 2004 or 2005)
24th June, 09.00-11.00 Under 18 (Players born
in 2002 or 2003)
Players attending will complete a registration
process on arrival at their trial, and this process
can be speeded up by filling in a Player Information
HERE to download) beforehand and bringing it
to the trial.
Players who have previously been a member of
an HSBA squad must not wear their County shirt at the trials.
MESSAGE FOR BUDDING COACHES!
