County Trials

To be arranged in 2017

Squad Sessions will now have in attendance three Coaches
  • Rebecca White - County Coach

I first picked up a racket at 12 years old, since then I have played for Northants receiving coaching from Julian Robertson and Kristian Roebuck. As a junior I was also lucky enough to have the opportunity to train at the Nusa Mahsuri Academy in Malaysia under Misbun Sidek which was insane; experiencing how they train, my feet still haven’t recovered! I have also represented Lancashire at Premier County level during university at the University of Central Lancashire where I gained a BA(Hons) and Masters in Sports Coaching. I hope to use this knowledge of coaching to continue to develop such a strong county for Badminton.

  • David Westwood - County Coach

David first picked up a badminton racquet at the age of eight. He has played for Hertfordshire since the age of 11 and also represented Loughborough University as a student. He usually finds time outside of work and professional studies for all things badminton and enjoys running around on the hockey field as well. Chris Adcock once thrashed him at singles.

  • Kelly Matthews – County Coach
